Truckee River Fising Report 10/25/11

It’s good, real good, anywhere on the river. All it took was some colder, overcast weather. In one day the fishing went from okay, to pretty damn good. It’s pumpkin weather now, and them big fish are back on the move.  Fish are chasing streamers, eating nymphs, and poking their heads up for blue wings floating by. Think baetis, October caddis, stones, worms, eggs, and your favorite crazy ass bunny pattern. The rest of this month will be good, with November being prime time. This is a big Truckee River rainbow that Thomas bagged today.
