The bigs are in all over, on all the bay beaches at Pyramid Lake right now, and the fly fishing is very good. Seems like the fishing has been sporadic over the last few weeks, but now the bite is more consistent. This is the time to be up here fly fishing Pyramid Lake, water temps are perfect, and air temps haven’t got that cold yet. This week has been mostly overcast and add a little chop from the wind to take off the surface pressure, and you pretty much have a good all day bite. When I say bigs, fish just up over 20 pounds have been caught all week at all the usual beaches. Crazy, yes I know. All techniques are producing fish. Nymphs under the indo, nymphs no indo, buggers on the shooting head. Get on the ladder, get off the ladder, but just get out to Pyramid and go fish.
