Good solid fly fishing on the Truckee River.

Little cooler weather which is nice, and feeling like Fall again. Still looking for rain.

Hanging in there on the flows department. Just under 400 cubes here in Hirschdale, and lower through Reno. Out East, it’s just barely floatable. The lower Truckee River in Nevada starts fishing pretty good around now. Be nice to get some cooler rainy weather, and that would help get things going down there. Help things everywhere in CA, actually.

So look for some Fall blue wing hatches if we can get some cloudy weather. Streamer fish, kinda need some clouds for that too though. Nymph if it’s sunny.  I have a Streamer/ Euro Clinic on the 22nd. Few spots left.
