Fly fishing at the high desert Pyramid Lake in Nevada continues to produce monster cutthroats and she is just getting into her prime. We actually have some small cold fronts coming through the East Side-Western Nevada, lowering temps and bringing some much needed precip to the area. Next week looks like much of the same, fingers crossed. Yes, the 10 day forecast has rain and snow in it. The more raw the better out at Pyramid, at least that’s how I look at it. Clouds and cold and a good chop, breaks up the surface tension and puts the big monster cuts right on the shelf. Should be a great next 4-6 weeks.
