Streamer Clinic - October 18th
Streamer Clinic covering floating lines, sinking lines, wighted streamers, and unweighted steamers. We will primarily focus on floating lines and wighted streamers as it apples to the wading angler on the Truckee River.
My style is mostly weighted steamers, and floating lines. I'll show you how to catch these big fish, brown trouts that swim in the Truckee River.
We will learn to fish the big articulated steamers, make our leaders, and most importantly the water to fish them.
Remember, a big brown trout switches to a mostly a carnivore diet once they get a certain length. Sure, they'll eat a nymph, but learning to get them with streamers will up your game.
Anything from a 5wt-8 wt will work for this clinic. Not the clinic for the euro rod, unless you have one of my Truckee Rods, or the like.
You'll get to see all my crazy streamers, the big stuff, small stuff, jigged, all the ones that catch big trout.
We will meet at 9 of the Hirschdale exit at the bottom of the off ramp at the store sign. We will go for 4 hrs or so. Price is $300
