Lots of things about to happen on the Truckee River.
We're moving out of our stagnant weather pattern and going right into full blown Winter. Storms will be warm to start, but looking like a white Christmas. Thank God, everyone in Truckee pretty much has environmental anxiety. That's a real thing. No snow is not good.
Remember, it doesn't snow to much down here in Hirschdale, and hardly ever down on the Nevada side of the river, so Winter fishing in storms can be real good.
Some juicy storms coming. The Truckee River should come up. How much? Who cares. the bigger the better in my view. She fishes good real high.
Fish worms, bigger nymphs, streamers, etc. when the water comes up. Should get real interesting weather and flow wise next week.
