Been awhile since the last report. Things are Fall in Truckee/ Tahoe. Cold overnight lows, some snow on top of Mt Rose, and pretty crisp days.
Fall fishing has been very good. Flows have also remained good. Going in between 300-400 cfs here in Hirschdale.
With any rig you can get 'em right now. Fall is much like Spring. Cool water temps, and active trouts. Streamers can be good, dry fly, on cloudy days, and nymphing of course. Euro, bobber, dry dropper, dry dropper is super fun this time of year.
So still Fall fishing on the Ca side. That will change very quickly with more cold weather, then you'll get fish moving into the frog water. But for now fish everything, they'll still be in a lot of different water types.
