Finally some weather in the greater Tahoe-Truckee-Reno area. November has been pretty dry and warm, hell all year it’s been dry and warm. Lets hope this gets things going a bit on the rain and snow side. The Truckee River has been fishing well mostly in Nevada, but surprisingly good in California still too. Usually this time of year it is cold around Hirschdale ,and Glenshire, and Floriston, all the Cali spots, but this year isn’t so, and the fishing has been good. In Nevada we’ve had some stellar days with fish still in all types of water. Baeits mostly, some descent dry fly fishing, and descent streamer fishing too. Tight lining for the fast stuff, and indo fishing for the fish that have put themselves back in the slower deeper stuff.
